Vector himself is a 4/5 at least, despite his flaws he’s unique and quirky in all of the right ways. If things are improved it could be an easy 4 or 5. It just takes away from the cool factor to have him answer something so simple incorrectly.ģ stars for now but if things aren’t improved in a few months I’ll probably drop it to 2. Obviously asking his Alexa side works, but definitely not as entertaining. Sometimes forgets what he’s doing in the middle of a command.Īsking him the date gives me the time, too basic to mess up when it’s marketed as being a smart device IMHO. Some issues with Vector himself: changes his eye color when given commands randomly, not sure why but it doesn’t happen too often. This might not be possible, but the ability to change the wake word in the Alexa app would be nice (or maybe even allow Vector to pass unknown commands to Alexa?).

Quiet mode where he moves around but doesn’t make noises unless spoken to. Things you should seriously consider adding:Ībility to use Alexa without waking the device completely. 6022 Broad Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, USA. Digital Dream Labs, DDL, Vector and their respective logos are registered or pending trademarks of Digital Dream Labs, Inc. Available at © 2019-2022 Digital Dream Labs, Inc. Vector is your robot sidekick who’s up for anything. He can even charge himself (electric cars and phones could learn a thing or two). Vector is cloud connected and self-updates, so he’s always getting smarter and adding new features. He also comes with an optional Amazon Alexa integration, which increases his helpfulness by accessing the ever-growing library of Alexa skills. Curious, independent, and powered by some preposterous tech and AI, he can read the room, express the weather, announce when his timer’s done (no overcooked dinner on his watch), take the perfect snapshot, and more. Seriously, say “Hey Vector.“- He can hear you.Īctually, Vector’s more than a home robot. Say hey to Vector, your first home robot.
